THE ARCHIVE

The Glasgow Academy Archive collection covers all aspects of school and alumni life. We hold the records of the War Memorial Trust which governs the school, school registers, sports and co-curricular activities, records of clubs and societies, school magazines and publications, officer training corps records and other associated miscellaneous historical papers relating to the school, former pupils and staff.
 
We are also the custodians of the records relating to the Westbourne School for Girls, the Glasgow Academical Club, Atholl Preparatory School and Dairsie House School.

As a school archive, we look after many objects too, including uniform and textiles, sport memorabilia, trophies, plaques and awards, as well as a large collection of physical and digital media of different formats.
